RailFood 3.5 is out!

We're pleased to announce a revamp of RailFood. We aren't done with improving the site just yet but in the meantime we'd like to present you with this new version. Here are some of the features:

Real-time inventory: We've partnered with several railroad suppliers to bring you inventory in real-time. That means if it says it's in stock, it really is in stock*. No longer will you have to wonder whether something you searched for is actually there. If you are a Pro member, we welcome you to join our real-time stock program. We have simplified the process so it is easy to make your inventory for sale available to the whole world to buy.

Simplified product uploads: Before it used to take 5 columns of data to upload parts. Now we're down to just 1. Simply prepare a CSV file with the part numbers and upload it directly to RailFood to get started. Remember that Pro members can get personalized help.

Combined activity feed: Before we used to show the classified ads and recent listing separately. We've now combined the two into one convenient activity feed. For the moment classified ads are still free for all members though this may become a Pro feature only in the near future. The feed is displayed on more pages than ever so take advantage of the free publicity to post your job listings, sales, or whatever your company has going on.

Improved Categories: It's now easier than ever to find the locomotive parts you're looking for. Simply search or browse our improved categories and then filter down using any of the convenient tags we've prepared for you. We'll have more and more filter options as time goes on but we have to start somewhere!

Name your packages: Did you just upload a bunch of parts for an Alco 244 engine? Well, you can now name the parts as well. Just click on your package and rename it to whatever you like. This will make it easier for both you and any interested party to identify in the future.

There is more coming. We welcome your feedback.
