We're pleased to announce our latest iPhone app has just been approved by Apple for inclusion in the App Store. It's called BaconFinder and well, it finds bacon. It was a fun app to make with lots of challenges including gathering data and finding a happy medium between speed and accuracy with spatial searches. After rolling our own and trying WebSolr, we eventually settled on using MongoDB. The app is available now (free for a limited time) from the App Store. Go get it!
